SANJIESAN COSPLAY / Portrait review methods
Check location information in the actual shared photo
A costume picture may be made in a private home or another place the participants do not want identified. Adobe’s Lightroom Classic Map guidance includes removal of location information on export. Use the relevant tool’s current documentation and review the actual shared copy; do not rely on an assumption that every service or export automatically removes the same information.
Agree what location detail belongs in public
Ask the relevant participants whether the planned caption should name a venue, a city or no location. Keep any private address, access instruction or behind-the-scenes location note out of the public brief unless it is intentionally appropriate to share. A consented venue name does not automatically mean every precise coordinate or preparation image belongs online. Set the scope for this project rather than borrowing a location convention from a previous shoot with different people.
Prepare the export through the documented workflow
Use the actual editor’s relevant metadata controls and check which location fields its documentation says will be excluded. Keep a private original through the project’s normal process while preparing the intended public copy. Do not rename the file and assume its embedded information changed. A tool setting should be treated as a step to verify, especially when different applications or export presets are used by several people in the same team.
Inspect the file and the visible scene
Check the exact delivered copy using an appropriate metadata view and review the caption. Also look for visible identifying details such as a private address sign that metadata controls cannot remove. This is a focused review of intended sharing, not a guarantee of anonymity. If the agreed scope cannot be met confidently, choose another suitable image or ask the responsible participants before publishing. Keep the reviewed file identifiable so a different export is not substituted unnoticed.
