Keep the care guide with the wig it actually describes

A useful wig care note starts with knowing which wig it belongs to. Arda’s FAQ separates named fibre lines and includes product-specific caveats. Rather than copying a generic instruction card for the whole collection, create a small reference trail that lets you return to the relevant manufacturer and any later styling guidance.

Identify the base before collecting advice

Keep the style name, product line and colour identifier together with the actual purchase reference. Ask the supplier when a label is missing or ambiguous. A second-hand item may need more clarification than a new one with an intact tag. Do not infer composition from appearance alone. This first step should let another person locate the exact item information without guessing from a photograph of the finished character look.

Separate original material guidance from additions

If a stylist added components or used products, ask what information should accompany the completed piece. Keep their relevant guidance distinct from the original base instructions so a later owner can see that the object has changed. Do not assume a method applicable to the unaltered base automatically suits every addition. If the two sets of information leave a practical question unanswered, seek clarification before treating the combined wig as an ordinary unstyled item.

Make the reference easy to retrieve

Store a concise index with the item: exact identity, original source and the person to ask about later work. Avoid distributing unrelated personal order details. When an online page changes, retain your dated note of what product it concerned and recheck the current source rather than presenting an old screenshot as permanently authoritative. The useful document is short enough to consult before a task, with unresolved points visible instead of buried under a large collection of conflicting tips.
