SANJIESAN COSPLAY / BUYING GUIDE
Read both dimensions before buying a weft
A weft listing can contain two dimensions describing different directions. EpicCosplay’s Classic White example lists fibre length separately from the width of the strip carrying the hair. Read that distinction before estimating quantity. A component is useful when it answers a specific design need, not simply because the character hairstyle needs more volume somewhere.
Draw the two directions on a simple component sketch
Sketch the supporting strip as a line and the fibre falling from it. Mark the supplier’s length and width labels on their relevant directions, keeping the original units available. The selected product page describes a 15-inch fibre length and a 30-inch strip width; these are that listing’s dimensions, not a promise about other options. Do not multiply the two numbers as if the purchase were a rectangular sheet of uniform usable hair.
Match the component to a defined styling task
Ask the responsible stylist which area needs additional fibre and what form they can use with the actual base. Compare exact product line, colour identifier and supplied form rather than relying on two similar thumbnails. A sewn weft, a clip-on piece and loose fibre are different purchase formats; do not silently substitute one for another. The styling plan should establish suitability and quantity. This guide does not provide attachment, cutting, adhesive or heat instructions.
Stop before buying speculative multiples
Have the stylist explain the required amount in the same units used by the listing. If the plan names only more thickness, ask what part remains unresolved before ordering several packs. Keep any sample comparison tied to the exact line and colour. A smaller initial purchase may answer a representative question if the supplier and stylist agree it is useful. More material is not a remedy for selecting the wrong form or an unanswered compatibility question.
