Choose the wig base, not just the finished styling photograph
A finished wig photograph can hide the amount of work between a supplied base and the character look. Begin with the unstyled product information. You need to know what shape, construction and colour option you are buying before deciding which later styling steps belong in the project.
Check the base against the wearer and hair direction
Look for the maker’s cap-size information, parting, hairline and available product views. Ask how a stated measurement is taken rather than inferring fit from one model photograph.
